‘When did the first modern Olympics take place?’

Yesterday we were looking for the answer to the question of when the first ancient Olympic Games took place. Today, we will address the issue of the first modern Olympics, which are much closer to our times and the tradition of organizing which continues to this day.

The first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896 in Athens, Greece. They were the Summer Olympic Games. As for the first Winter Olympics, they were organized in 1924 in Chamonix, France.
