What is the Paschal Triduum?

The word “triduum” comes from Latin and means “three days.” It is the most important period in the liturgical year of the Roman Catholic and Old Catholic Church. The purpose of the triduum is to reflect on the Paschal mystery, which includes the suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ.
