‘New restrictions across Poland from 20.03.2021’

In relation to the epidemic situation in our country, the government has announced new restrictions. Due to the high percentage of COVID-19 cases, the new measures will apply nationwide and come into effect from March 20th. They are intended to be in place for a period of three weeks until April 9th, including the Easter period.

The list of new restrictions is presented below:

– Remote learning for grades 1 to 3 in primary schools,
– Closure of hotels (with the exception of worker hotels and specified business trips),
– Limited operation of shopping malls. Grocery stores, pharmacies, drugstores, newsagents, pet shops, bookstores, hair salons, optical salons, banks, laundries, and construction stores are exempt,
– Closure of cinemas, theaters, museums, art galleries, and casinos,
– Closure of swimming pools, saunas, tanning salons, sports facilities, gyms, and fitness clubs, as well as ski slopes.

These restrictions have been in place in the Mazowieckie, Lubuskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, and Podlaskie Voivodeships up to this point. Due to a rapid increase in the number of infections, these measures will apply nationwide as of March 20th.

We wish you good health!
