‘British Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – how many children did they have?’

Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Elizabeth II, has four children. All of them come from her long-standing marriage to the recently deceased Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Their marriage lasted 74 years.

The Queen and the Prince’s children, in order of age, are:

  • Charles, Prince of Wales (heir to the throne), born in 1948,
  • Anne (15th in line to the throne), born in 1950,
  • Andrew, Duke of York (8th in line to the throne), born in 1960,
  • Edward, Earl of Wessex (12th in line to the throne), born in 1964.
