Rosewater is known for its exceptional properties. This ingredient is increasingly being added to numerous cosmetics, but did you know that you can also make rose hydrosol at home? You will need distilled water and approximately 4 handfuls of rose petals. Then, you pour water over the petals and cook it covered for about 7-10 minutes. After straining and cooling, the rosewater is ready to use. Its shelf life is about 30 days, but remember that the hydrosol should be stored in the refrigerator.
