What were the meters of the world’s longest beard?

The owner of the longest beard in the world was Norwegian Hans Nilson Langserth (1846-1927), whose beard measured an impressive 5.33 meters at the time of his death. Langserth started growing it at the age of 19. Two years later, he emigrated to the United States, where he began traveling and showing his beard for money as part of a “freak show”. Currently, the longest beard in the world is kept in the storage of the Department of Anthropology at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington.
